Trying Again

So, I've created probably.. five different blogs in the last few years to try and jump start myself into doing it on a regular basis just so I can get my thoughts out about daily events or to remember events that happened recently. I have a Supernatural convention coming up in a few weeks, and I really want to write down everything about it so that I can relive it easier than I can the one from last year.

So here goes..

Over the weekend Ria and I went to a party at her bosses house. I was kind of nervous about it because meeting her co-workers would be kind of awkward, just like it is meeting new people in general. I've heard about them for months but had no idea what they'd look like or how they'd really act. Especially Blake, who's the gay one and apparently a self-named douchebag. I wasn't expecting much good from him, but he was fine. Everyone was really friendly and I can see myself hanging out with them again if I'm invited again. :] Her boss got drunk, hit on me, talked about my boobs and gave me a kiss on the cheek and so did her bosses wife's best friend. Hah. It was a fun time..until Ria got sick. Then it got kind of maudlin, but I knew it would since she'd been repeating that she deserves some time to get really fucked up, after everything that's happened. And yes, she does and I'm glad she did, but getting sick wasn't what I had in mind for that night. lol But over all, it was a good time, got home around 6am after eating Waffle House and then passed out til about 4pm. Good times.

Which leads me to another thing.. that's the second time I had to clean up puke in the month of August. lol Gross..I keep saying that I'm totally ready for this weekend now. Ria and I are going to Colorado to visit her niece, my niece by proxy, and I'm about 95% sure she will projectile vomit on me at some point. It's bound to happen. lol I really can't wait to see the baby though, I hope that she's old enough to be responsive and stuff. I'd assume she is, but she's barely over a month old..so we'll see. I also hope that I can hold her somewhat normally since my boobs get in the way. Feels like I'm already holding a baby most of the time. XD There's a lot to do before we go.. I have to catch up on work. I've been slacking so much lately and it's really not a good thing. I just don't have the motivation to do it and really would love a new job.

I keep looking for a job, I'm going to still look until I find something, but man is it disheartening. Being unable to pay my bills or pay rent or pay half of the normal bills like I should. It's just frustrating as hell. *sigh* Just gotta keep going.. something will come up. It's bound to, I'm not an idiot and I'm good at what I do.

I'll stop here for now, will try and post more often. I really want to do this just to get my thoughts out about stuff and get into it again. Hopefully I can. I have a list of things I need to do tomorrow so I need to go to sleep and get ready for it..
